The new year has started...uneventfully! I am still working on the sweater for hubby. I've got 12 inches of the front done...not much more to go...I keep telling myself that, so that I keep working on it.
My mind is already wandering to the next big project...a sweater for myself. I started this sweater this past fall, but other projects took precedence and this one got put on the back burner. The sweater is a Jo Sharp sweater with cables (my first cable sweater). I'm knitting it out of Jo Sharp Silkroad DK Tweed. When I get started on it again, I'll post some pics.
Just after Christmas, I went to a quilt and yarn shop that was going out of business. I purchased a skein of Mango Moon recycled silk and am dreaming about what to make out of it...looking for some inspiration.

I see you already have a fan base!! I'm glad you're doing this, too. Now you can inspire others outside our little group. I hope to see lots of pictures...the sweater looks great, by the way!
